Registration is in Gallup’s famous El Rancho Hotel lobby from 11am till 3pm on Thursday. If you arrive later, just call 505-688-5829. Your registration packet contains, a travel guide, maps, detailed itinerary, and if you’re one of the first 100 entrants a beautiful commemorative license plate. Optional tours on Thursday include Richardson’s Trading Company, Rex Museum and the Gallup Cultural Center. After Friday mornings briefing we’ll leave Gallup around 9:30am so you might want to have an early breakfast at the El Rancho or Earl’s. The day includes photo stops, vintage camper and Kimo Theater tours, Maisel’s and lots of great scenery. After dinner take a cruise along 66 and enjoy the neon glow. Saturday we will stop at Sal’s Whiting Bros, the Route 66 Auto Museum and more... Once in Tucumcari, we’ll join the Wheel’s on 66 festivities, Rockabilly on the Route and then have a banquet with awards and raffle prizes.
